Christmas - Year C
Christmas follows Advent beginning with the Christmas Vigil Mass, Dec
ember 24, and ending on the feast of the Baptism of Jesus on January 10th.
Emmanuel -- God is with us
We celebrate not only the significance of God being with us but of His actually being IN us! Jesus is the perfect example of what God intended when God created humans "in our image and likeness." While both human AND divine, Christ,
as a human, lived and taught what the Will of God is all about. His conformity with God's Will, as a human, is what we must continue to strive for in our humanness.
NOTE: Several of the liturgies for the Christmas Season have readings with Longer and Shorter Forms. Further, several of the liturgies have more than one choice of readings.

We've also included a link to "The Word" column from America Magazine for each liturgy (if available). The articles are from the last Year C Cycle but are still useful and thought-provoking for your preparation efforts.
